Ideal place to start your yoga journey.
The class takes you through the basic elements of a yoga practice; utilising the breath, encouraging focus, working with the body, creating proprioception, self awareness, understanding yoga terminology and philosophy. You will be guided every step of the way and questions can be asked throughout.
You will float out (after savasana) feeling as though you have worked out, have begun to develop a deeper understand of yoga science and it's peaceful benefits.
In each class you will encouraged to make use of practice supports such as: blocks, bolsters, cushions, belts and blankets. You will learn to embrace the etiquette of a yoga space, take responsibility for how you are feeling and recognise the difference between pain and beneficial discomfort. You will feel empowered and ready to take rest when you need to and listen to what your own unique body needs.
