200 HOUR Yoga Teacher Training - IN-STUDIO & ONLINE

Course Content

The Course modules cover the following areas:

•      History and Philosophy of Yoga and Key Yoga texts

•      Asana Fundamentals, Adjustments, Assists & Modifications

•     Contemporary Yoga Anatomy

•     Subtle and Energetic Anatomy 

•      Pranayama and meditation

•     Class Design and Creative Sequencing

• Teaching Techniques

•      Business of Yoga

• Practical Aspects of Teaching Yoga & Finding Your Voice

• Hands on teaching experience

Dates and Venue

The Course will run from 26th February 2022 to 18th September 2022, in four distinct phases

Phase 1: Intensive First Phase, 2nd April - 15th April

This initial intensive phase will cover roughly 75% of the course content. This phase will be in the studio lead by Guy and Cindy.

Phase 2 : Weekend Modules, 22nd April, 29th April & 13th May

In this phase there will be a number of sessions covering topics including pranayama, meditation, creative sequencing and you start your teaching practice.

Phase 3 :  Final Meeting and Assessment Phase, 27th May - 1 June

This final phase will include a practical and theoretical assessment and a graduation ceremony for successful students.  

We will use the facilities of The Zen Shed with 2 fully equipped studio spaces for LESSONS, classes and practical teaching experience.   There will be access to changing rooms and showers, a kitchen for making tea and there are various cafes close to the studio for meals. We plan to keep the course numbers small as this is the best way to ensure a high level of input from your tutors in both your learning and self-development
