For the fitness-focused yogi warm barre is a must to heat up your routine.
Warm barre is a fast-paced blend of yoga with ballet, Pilates, weight training and interval training. The room is heated to between 30 and 34 degrees celcius and the workout is centered on the barre, which provides stability, balance and improve posture as you target the core, glutes, arms and legs in this sweaty, fast-paced workout.
The class includes a series of warm-up stretches, upper-body exercises, core work, and body conditioning with constant reminders to focus on the breath and alignment.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
If you are pregnant, or less than 7 weeks post-natal, we ask that you do not attend our general yoga classes unless specified that it is suitable. Not all of our instructors are trained in this area and we are unable to guarantee a safe pregnancy practice. No exceptions. It is generally advised that during the first trimester you do not attend any classes. If you do want to practice we strongly recommend you seek the advice of your GP. If you are more than 14 weeks into your pregnancy you are welcome to join one of our specialist pregnancy classes or classes that say they are suitable for pregnant women. Speak to reception to discuss your options.
