Breath, Move, Relax, Repeat.

Vinyasa means “to place with awareness and intention.” In this practice we flow through postures in a dynamic, smooth and unbroken sequence. Vinyasa is a modern form of yoga that draws from a number of yoga and other traditions including Ashtanga, Iyengar, martial arts and dance. While class pace, style and intensity vary, emphasis is placed on balancing the movement of the body with breath in creative sequences. Some classes may include a short meditation and/or practicing breathing techniques.

If you are pregnant, or less than 7 weeks post-natal, we ask that you do not attend our general yoga and pilates classes unless specified that it is suitable. Not all of our instructors are trained in this area and we are unable to guarantee a safe pregnancy practice. No exceptions. It is generally advised that during the first trimester you do not attend any classes. If you do want to practice we strongly recommend you seek the advice of your GP. If you are more than 14 weeks into your pregnancy you are welcome to join one of our specialist pregnancy classes or classes that say they are suitable for pregnant women. Speak to reception to discuss your options.
